Episode 8: Lifestyle Creep

For this week’s challenge, I want you to think back to the last time you received a pay increase. Did you immediately rework your monthly budget to allocate more of your income to savings? Or, like many people tend to do, did you use your increased income to do something like lease a nicer car or purchase a larger home? If your answer is the latter – increased spending – you may be a victim of Lifestyle Creep.

Episode 4: Your Spouse and Money

Your challenge for this week is to open up a new kind of financial conversation – not one based on conflict, disappointment, guilt, or any other common feelings that cause couples to argue – but a conversation based on a greater understanding of your partner’s money story.

Episode 3: The Numbers Game

For this week’s challenge, think about a number you’ve been fixated on. It could be the number of clients you’d like to have at your business, the age at which you hope to retire, or even the desirable zip code you hope to live in. After you identify your number, ask yourself WHY. Why is this number important? What will it mean for your business, your life, or your family circumstances if you achieve it?
